Since cameras have become lighter, the demand for smaller and more compact accessories has risen. Many companies have stepped up to fill this market, including Kessler who has recently announced the brand new Pocket Jib Traveler.
The Kessler Pocket Jib Traveler is a great option if you are flying to a location and are trying to keep costs down. It’s designed for cameras that are under 10 lbs, so it works best with things like C100s, DSLRs, and GoPros.
The jib itself weighs only 5.5 lbs and has a collapsed length of 27”. If you’re looking for a small, light jib I think that this is a great option. It’s supposed to be available March 29th and retails for $600.
Check out this video Kessler made using the new jib:
Here’s Kessler’s description of the jib:
“The Pocket Jib Traveler is Kessler’s newest and most compact Pocket Jib designed for shooters that require an ultra-portable jib solution. The Pocket Jib Traveler is 27 inches in length when collapsed and has a circular travel distance of 72 inches when fully extended.
